Two free presentations of excerpts from this romantic new show will play at the Durant-Kenrick House on Saturday October 18, 2014 at 2:30 and 4:00 PM. The concert will be followed by a Q&A session with Composer Miriam Raiken-Kolb and Playwright G.L. Horton.

The Durank-Kenrick House Museum kitchen in Newton is very like Sarn Farm’s 1815 kitchen, in poet Mary Web’s celebrated novel “Precious Bane”. Imagine Wizard Beguildy’s beautiful daughter Jancis there, singing of her star-crossed love for her ruthless sweetheart Gideon Sarn!
